The Christchurch City Council is encouraging residents to have their say about the Long Term Plan that will shape the city over the next 10 years.
The Plan covers everything we do and how we pay for it. This includes:
fixing roads, footpaths and storm water systems
repairing or rebuilding damaged community facilities
our share of the costs for Central City Anchor projects such as the New Central Library and Metro Sports Facility.

Let's Find & Fix is an initiative led by the community and aimed at finding
and providing temporary fixes to earthquake damaged houses that are not
weather tight, safe or sanitary before winter. The campaign is being led by
CanCERN along with Red Cross and Community Energy Action in partnership with
insurers, claims management companies, EQC, Christchurch Earthquake Appeal
Trust, CERA and CCC.
8 March - The Residential Advisory Service provides independent assistance to residential property owners. It helps them to understand and progress the repair and rebuild process.

Christchurch City Council will be operating a helicopter over the new (lower) part of the Captain Thomas Track on 3 December. They will be flying loads of gravel from the top of Richmond Hill to fill wet areas of the track.
