JUDGING
Judging was held on Friday 7th March. The judges were Christina Garbarini, Rose Cameron, Maja Moritz.

The decision about the winning images was pretty clear, they are all true stunners celebrating the beauty of our area at the best: The photograph titled "Cave Rock" with Cave Rock as a landmark, photographed from Scarborough Hill in an unusual perspective and combing a perfect moment of light and composition by Richard Simmonds is the winner.

The mesmerizingly beautiful and contrasting colours of the sunset at Shag Rock stand symbolic for the breathtaking and constantly varying colourful skies which are so characteristic for this area, each single one a unique experience on its own. The photograph called "Contemplation" by Ian Wiseman ranks seconds.

Another photograph by Richard Simmonds made it into the top three: "Golden footsteps" is deemed by the judges to be an extremly original and precious moment, which is very difficult, if not even impossible to redo, and illustrates in an unseen way the sparkling joy of life which this magic little paradise called Sumner beach can ignite.
